Mikesell Motorsports to Add Dirt Events to its Program
(Salina, KS) Mikesell Motorsports announces that it will extend its racing efforts to include
dirt late model events for the remainder of the 2008 racing season. The team still plans to run a limited pavement late
model schedule under USLMA and ASA Late Model Series affiliations. This decision stems from rising fuel prices and the
availability of dirt events closer to Mikesell Motorsports. Tracks running this "crate motor" class include
I-80 Speedway and Junction Motor Speedway in Nebraska and several tracks throughout Kansas competing against cars
opting to use larger, open motors. A tentative schedule will be posted soon on chrismikesell.com.
